Why We Tithe Tithes and offerings is a biblical principal and in Malachi 3:10 God’s Word said for us to set aside the first tenth of our earnings as a gift to God. God is our Provider, and by giving into His Kingdom we are affirming His ability to supply all our needs. Our act of giving is an act of gratitude and thankfulness for our blessings. According to II Corinthians 8-9 we have to be willing, generous and cheerful givers. Let’s build the Kingdom of God by being obedient to His word and faithful in our giving.
