The workshops will be a combination of lecture, discussion and lab. I have no problem with someone coming to the workshops without a camera, but what they take away from it will be perhaps a bit limited.
The basic workshop will focus on understanding the digital camera from the perspective of a film camera, and will highlight the similarities and differences of the two. It will be a combination of lecture and lab, and will give the student the ability to take their camera off auto and learn how to take full control of their camera.
The lighting workshop will focus on the different types of lighting a photographer uses, and the various effects each in producing their art. It will be a combination of lecture and lab, with the end result being a good fundamental knowledge of how to manipulate light to take better pictures.
Please let us know when you will be attending!
Both sessions are FREE but we ask for a $5 donation the day of for the lunch provided.
